TRANSPARENCYandACCOUNTABILITY.ORG, “IT's OUR TURN”

We are in the first inning of the Health Care reform issue. It is becoming increasingly contested every day. We’ve got many of our Washington elected changing positions and scrambling to align with the “popular” position. Whose popular position we ask.

Here’s where we are:

President Obama wants reform.

The majority of the people need and want reform.

Businesses of all sizes are fighting for survival in this economy and consequently being forced to change the promises of health care to existing and former employees. Employees are and will continue to be forced to pay for much, if not all of their health care coverage.

So why can’t something be done? Where is the disconnect? The answers to these questions point to We The People demanding Congress give us the accountability we expect from them. The answers point to who in Congress has a problem with every one of us having the ability to obtain the same health care coverage they get? Who in Congress is being accountable to high paid lobbyists in lieu of the people who sent them to Washington?

Now is the time for us to let our representation in Washington hear that we know where the disconnect lies.

Good post. Ya truly said majority of people want reform. There are thousands of people around the world who don’t get good health care facilities just because they can’t afford it and have to suffer a lot.
